Offered here today is an interesting and very collectible timepiece: a vintage Bovet military-style mechanical wristwatch.

It is a manual-wind watch powered by the original Bovet Freres & Co. S.A. mechanical movement, featuring 7 jewels with a sweep seconds hand and made in Switzerland. SERVICED on March 26

The watch retains its two-tone champagne/silver dial, which has developed an attractive vintage patina over time. It is accented by Arabic numerals, a black minute/seconds track, and matching hands with a red sweep seconds hand.

It is housed in a 30mm round stainless steel case back with classic lug design. The watch is fitted with a brown leather two-piece strap.

Fully inspected, it is still in good vintage condition consistent with age and use.
